Currently Serving Gary and Susan Baker, Kyle's parents Kyle Baker, U.S. Marine Corp
Kyle is a Lance Corporal with two years of service. He is currently on his second tour of duty in Fallujah, Iraq.
Veterans David AllenDavid Allen, U.S. Navy, CTR2- E-5 (1965-1972).
David was in the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1972 and saw action in the Gulf of Tonkin. He received a Presidential Unit Citation and a Combat Action Ribbon.
Stokes and Caye Baggett Stokes E. Baggett, U.S. Army.
Stokes served during World War II in the 45th Infantry Division. He landed on Omaha Beach with the 2nd Infantry Division and received the Purple Heart for his service there.
Earline and Earl BakerEarl Baker, U.S. Air Force.
Earl was a First Lieutenant/Engineer and served overseas during World War II and Korea. He received a World War II Victory Medal.
James R. Baxter, U.S. Army, Retired Colonel.
From 1942 to 1946 James served as an Army Quartermaster in Europe. In 1951 he was commissioned as an officer. In 1967 he graduated Command and General Staff College and in 1979 retired as a Colonel from the Chemical Corps. He served during World War II and then served 30 years in the Reserve.
Grace's Deceased VeteransLeonard Bates, U.S. Navy.
Leonard served during World War II. He was assigned to the U.S.S. Humphrey. He was responsible for taking underwater demolition teams to blow up the coral reefs at night before the Marines landed on the beaches. Leonard served in fierce battles in the Pacific and saw combat at the battle of Leyte Gulf on Oct. 20, 1944, the invasion of Luzon at Lingayen Gulf on Jan. 9, 1945, the battle of Iwo Jima and the battle of Okinawa beginning at 8:30 a.m. April 1, 1945.
