It's Pumpkin Patch Time!
The truck arrives Sunday afternoon.
The driver opens the door...
The boxes say Broccoli!!
We're going to have the Broccoli Patch this year?
Oh good! It's big, round, orange broccoli! Maybe people will think we have pumpkins again!
What else is on the truck?
Shy squashes. They don't want to look at us.
It's easy to unload the small pumpkins. Just remember to DUCK!
The larger pumpkins require teamwork.
The pumpkins are sorted by size to make it easier to find just the right one.
Some of the carts were so heavy with pumpkins it took two strong men to move them.
Our first customer of the season, picking out the best.
Sold! A beautiful wheelbarrow full of pumpkins and squashes.
The Pumpkin-Toting Crew, all finished, tired, worn out and dirty from unloading the pumpkins.
